The journey for a child and parent can be difficult when dealing with serious, specialty illnesses. From the very beginning, no matter the challenge, UCSF Benioff Children’s Hospitals will be with you, by your side, as you take your first step and all along the way. Our goal was to create a unified digital presence for a world class children’s hospital, bridging their physical, state of the art facilities with the digital experience.
We created a flexible and scalable design system through content, design guidelines, and a design toolkit. Helpful, friendly, and supportive “By Your Side” characters work to navigate you through the site. 3D elements and updated colors support easy wayfinding, putting clinics and locations at your fingertips.
